Project21 is a pyramid scheme, don't fall for it!
This page is put up as a warning about Project21, also known as:
Project Internet, "E-mail Processors" and Web Direct.
This is how this scam works.
1) You pay to join. You pay a monthly fee for 12 consecutive months,
to buy a kit. 100% of this fee goes to your recruiter. There are
no multiple levels, but the recruiter is on top of their 1-level pyramid.
2) The only way to make money is by recruiting others. This is done by
selling the exact same stuff you bought to new recruits. The selling is
not to end users. The kit is sold to those who are intending to join.
The money you get comes from the new suckers who pay you the
monthly fee. You are on top of your own 1-level pyramid.
These two things make it a pyramid scheme, plain and simple.
It works exactly like the "envelope stuffing" scam.
More Proof it is a pyramid scheme
Australian Consumers' Association
Consumer Protection in WA has renewed its warning about this
scam. It says there is no job or business offered by Project 21 other
than selling the kit to other people, then telling them to do the same.
Department of Consumer and Employment Protection
"Project 21" is an email version of an old-fashioned envelope
stuffing scam, promising high returns for little or no effort. Like most
work-from-home scams, the real game is in selling a "kit" of
information. The only "work" is to sell the kit to others and advise
them to do the same. Information received by WA ScamNet in January and February
tells us that Project 21 is back after an absence of several years

Project 21-E-Mail
This scheme is circulating the world via e-mail. The cost of the
scheme is $A140 per month for an 'educational package'. You
purchase one such package each month for 12 months. You then
recruit others into the scheme by having them purchase a
package from you. You retain all of the money for the packages
purchased from you. It is not known what happens when the 12
month period is up and you have purchased and sold all 12
packages.

Project 21 (Email Processing)
On 9 July The Sunday Times reported that the Fair Trading Ministry
was taking action against an internet scheme that advertised "Email
Processing" in newspaper employment classifieds. People
answering the advertisements were asked to buy a kit that would
show them how to earn income. On receiving the kit, they were told
to advertise again and sell the kit on to other people. The scheme
is illegal in WA. People involved have been warned to
refund cash or face prosecution.
